Terms & Exclusions

This details the assistance services provided by AXA Assistance USA (“AXA Assistance”) and for which you may be eligible as described herein.

Eligibility: In order to be eligible for the services and benefits described below, offered by AXA Assistance, you must be a Covered Person as defined below:

Duration of Coverage: The coverage period of the services described herein, rendered by AXA Assistance, runs concurrent with the validity of your enrollment in the Emergency Travel Assistance program. If for any reason you terminate your service, your eligibility to receive the services described herein will be immediately canceled.

Access: The services and benefits offered in this program will be arranged by AXA Assistance.

The benefits described herein are non-transferable.

Availability of Services:
Services are available worldwide, with the exception of those countries and territories which are the subject of governmental or quasi-governmental economic or political sanctions, which may be involved in an international or internal conflict, or where the existing infrastructure is deemed inadequate by AXA Assistance to guarantee service.

24-HOUR TOLL-FREE ACCESS WORLDWIDE:
To facilitate obtaining the services, AXA Assistance will offer multi-lingual telephonic and facsimile access, where available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Covered Person means an individual who has registered for Emergency Travel Assistance with AXA Assistance USA via internet registration either as a primary beneficiary or as a dependent and who still has a valid membership.

EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE SERVICES

CONTENT OF THE ASSISTANCE SERVICES

The Covered Person is entitled to the services described below (i) when 100 miles (160km) or more away from such Covered Person’s primary residence; or (ii) while traveling overseas outside the home country of origin; (iii) or prior to departing on a trip for Pre-trip Information Assistance.

There are four components of the Emergency Assistance 1 program:

  1. Pre-Trip Information Assistance
  2. Travel Emergency Assistance
  3. Medical Emergency Assistance
  4. Legal Emergency Assistance

COST OF THE ASSISTANCE SERVICES PROVIDED
All costs deriving from a Covered Person’s utilization of these services will be borne by the Covered Person.
